CBM calculator
From carton dimensions to shipment volume. Add each carton size below.
Use the outer packed dimensions, including pallets when applicable. All rows use the selected unit; changing units converts your entries.
The formula, in plain sight.
CBM = length (m) × width (m) × height (m) × quantity
For centimeters, divide length × width × height × quantity by 1,000,000. Calculate each carton size separately, then add the volumes.
A quick example
10 cartons measuring 60 × 40 × 50 cm:
60 × 40 × 50 × 10 ÷ 1,000,000 = 1.200 m³.
What does CBM tell you?
CBM means cubic meters: the geometric volume of your packed cargo. It does not account for unusable loading space, stackability or carrier rounding. It is not a freight price or a chargeable-weight calculation.
